Highland Park is currently looking for a self motivated individual who has a keen eye for detail to join our staff. The  Assistant Superintendent will work directly with the Superintendent, to develop, monitor and properly train daily assignments. The Assistant will work directly with the Superintendent to properly select and apply herbicide, pesticide and fertilizer applications along with the calibration of any equipment used. The Assistant will  assist with the scheduling, maintenance and repair of the irrigation system. The Assistant will communicate with the golf staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance operation. The Assistant will also have the opportunity to work with budgets and meet with owner and General manager to discuss strategies.

• A two or four year Turf or Landscape Degree along with previous golf course experience
• A turf grass certificate will be considered if the candidate has multiple years of golf course experience
• Bent Grass experience is highly encourage but will also train
• Must be able to obtain pesticide license within 60 days of employment
