We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head Greens Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and agronomic practices of our golf course. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of turf grass management, irrigation systems, and overall course conditioning. This role requires a strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining excellent playing conditions year-round.
Oversee and manage all aspects of golf course maintenance. Develop & implement agronomic programs to ensure optimal turf health and playability. Supervise and train maintenance staff. Operate and maintain irrigation systems. Monitor course conditions daily and make necessary adjustments. Prepare and manage the annual budget.
Experience - 3-5 years of golf course maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Education - Degree or certification in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
Licensing - Valid pesticide applicator's license (or ability to obtain one in Tennessee).
