Ironhorse Golf Course is an 18 hole Daily-Fee facility located in Tuscola, Illinois. This position assists in all facets of golf course maintenance while working closely with the Regional Golf Course Superintendent and other golf maintenance employees on a daily basis. The overall goal of this position is to give the employee hands on experience in order to prepare them to become a golf course superintendent in the future. This is a management position. The candidate must display leadership and be able to learn technical skills from hands on experience on the course. Duties will include daily planning and assigning work to employees, chemical and fertilizer applications (license included), irrigation repairs, training and discipline of employees as well as scouting and record keeping.
