We are looking for an AIT that will become our second assistant with in a couple years as our first / senior assistant retires. The selected candidate will work closely with him and learn the idiosyncrasies of our old irrigation system. The candidate will also work closely with the superintendent and current second / lead assistant. Candidate will help organize and schedule staffing. We are in the beginning stages of a new irrigation system for our North Course. We have several tee boxes we are going to add and rebuild many others. We are also working with an architect on updating and creating a new master plan.
Prefer someone who has completed turf school from an accredited university and at least 3 years of golf course experience. The first year will be a10 month position.
36 hole facility that started in the 30's with the WPA program and continued to expand into the early 90's to become the only 36 hole facility in the Flathead Valley! There have been several course improvement projects over the years. We have just added two simulators in the expanded club house and a new pump station and are in the early stages of a new irrigation system on the North Course.
