Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our dynamic team on the North Course. This position requires a collaborative individual who will work closely with another Assistant Superintendent to maintain the pristine standards of the course. Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will play a vital role in daily operations, staff management, and long-term maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing daily golf course operations, including course setup, mowing, and maintenance practices.
Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff to ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor course conditions and implement agronomic programs to optimize turf health and playability.
Oversee irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water management and timely repairs.
Work closely with the other Assistant Superintendent to coordinate staff and manage workloads effectively.
Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent on annual maintenance plans, special projects, and budgeting.
Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
Assist in equipment maintenance and oversee inventory management for materials and supplies.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management or a related field.
A minimum of 1-2 years of progressive experience in golf course maintenance, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
Strong understanding of golf course agronomy, irrigation systems, and equipment operation.
Proven ability to train and lead a team while fostering a positive work environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
