Cincinnati GM LLC is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Assistant Superintendent. Qualified candidates should be highly focused on providing superior playing conditions for our guests.
The Assistant Superintendent will work with the Superintendent to supervise staff in daily duties. Assists in planning, organizing, in the maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers. Supervises the planting and cultural practices involved in growing various turf grasses, trees and ornamental plants. Ensures the golf course equipment is properly maintained. Assists in in procurement of supplies and materials and ensures costs remain within budgetary limitations. Keeps records of annual maintenance activities and costs and assists in preparing reports. Will utilized preferred vendors, coding invoices, payroll and other required documents. Coordinates snow removal. Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed including compliance with government regulations. Ensures associates obtain proper license needed to perform job tasks safely and within city, state, and federal regulations. Manage department members. Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Regular and reliable attendance. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Obtain Ohio Pesticide Applicator License or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Prefer certification or degree in related field/golf maintenance experience
- Current Drivers License
