Wakonda Club is excited to announce the exceptional opportunity of Assistant Superintendent.  Founded in 1922, Wakonda Club is a private, member-owned golf and country club located in the heart of Des Moines which also hosts the Principal Charity Classic on The Champions Tour annually.  In 2023, Wakonda Club underwent a $7.4 Million Restoration which included a new irrigation system, rebuilding of five greens, green expansions on the remaining thirteen, fairway expansion & regrassing, tee construction & regrassing, and rebuilding of all bunkers.      The Assistant Superintendent will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and Lead Assistant Superintendent.  Qualified candidates should be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and are proactive in their communication
