St. Petersburg Country Club (SPCC) is a private, member owned club with approximately 700 members.  Established in 1924, the golf course was originally designed by Herbert Strong.  The club also has 9 Har-Tru tennis courts, 6 pickleball courts, a junior Olympic pool and a fitness room.  SPCC is host to the annual New Year’s Invitational Amateur Golf Tournament, which draws a number of the top amateur players from all over the country. SPCC just completed a multi-million-dollar golf course renovation, reopening in November 2024.  The renovation included Tif-Eagle Greens; Bimini Tees, Fairways and Primary Rough; Bunkers with Bunker Solution Liners and Cart Paths.
