The facility includes a full-service clubhouse with restaurant and Trackman simulator, driving range with turfgrass tees, putting green, 18-hole golf course, and practice facility that is shared by the university's men's and women's golf teams and PGA Professional Golf Management Program students.
Under the direction of the golf course superintendent, the assistant greens superintendent supervises and participates in the management, maintenance, and improvement of the golf course.
The assistant greens superintendent is a full-time, fully-benefitted, hourly/overtime-eligible position. Wage is $27.00 / hr or higher, depending on experience and education. The golf season typically extends from April through early November, weather-dependent. During the season, maintenance focuses primarily on the upkeep of the playing surfaces, while off-season priorities shift to improvement projects and when necessary, snow removal.
The typical work week for this position is 40 hours. Start times vary throughout the year, based upon daylight and business requirements. The successful candidate will work approximately every third to fourth weekend per month throughout the golf season (in rotation with other managers) and will be expected to work some overtime during aerification (twice per year), occasional projects, and a few golf tournaments each season.

The Spokane, WA / Coeur d'Alene, ID metroplex (Population ~750,000) is approximately a 90-minute drive north of Moscow and includes an international airport and most typical amenities associated with large urban areas.
