Our golf club is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent for Turf Management to join our team. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the course's grounds are maintained at the highest standard. Responsibilities include supervising and training staff, implementing turf management programs, overseeing irrigation systems, and assisting in budget planning. The ideal candidate should have a passion for turfgrass management and possess strong communication skills. A degree in turfgrass management, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
The Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the golf course, collaborating with the maintenance team to achieve exceptional, tournament ready, playing conditions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a picturesque environment while advancing your career in golf course management. Candidates should be team players with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
This position if available immediately, with the thought of having the Assistant Superintendent on the team and in place, no later than January 15th.
