We are in the process of resurfacing tees and approaches with poa level over our acceptable threshold. -Ridge Gerstberger University of Nebraska 2023 season
“When looking for my third internship last summer I came across Martis Camp. The first thing that caught my eye was how close it is to lake Tahoe, but that was dimmed in comparison to the beauty of the course. Being able to work on one of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever been on was truly an amazing experience. They tailored the internship to what I wanted to learn, and I was able to participate in all aspects of the agronomic and leadership processes. I was nervous to meet all the guys when work started, but I slowly became family to all of them. I could not have asked for better leadership, motivation, and willingness to work for Jon, Cote and Evan. Working at Martis Camp is something I will forever be grateful for.”
-Macy Sansing Mississippi State University 2022 season
“Without question Martis Camp was my favorite place to work within the whole of the U.S.A. From the moment I stepped through the door I was welcomed with open arms and immediately felt as if I was an integral part of the team. The trust put into me from the get-go was indicative of how the management team wanted me to learn and flourish in their environment. They took the time to teach me pretty much every job there is on a golf course. Such as, irrigation repairs, bunker renovations, spraying, cutting and course set-up. The standard is very high, with attention to detail being of great importance, this of course raised my standards immensely and has given me so much confidence down the road. Martis Camp is in a beautiful location with countless things to do outside work. Martis camp is most definitely the very best place any aspiring Greenkeeper could be at.”
