Assistant Superintendents:  The Golf Courses of Lawsonia (managed by Oliphant Golf Management)

Oliphant Golf Management (OGM) is seeking 2 hard-working, results oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendents to join our team in Green Lake, Wisconsin at The Golf Courses of Lawsonia.  Under the direction and supervision of Head Superintendent Mike Lyons and Superintendent Dave McClure, the Assistant Superintendents will lead small groups to achieve optimal golf course conditions in a teamwork-driven atmosphere.  This position offers opportunities to grow in your career while maintaining two historic 18 hole golf courses.  The past three Assistant Superintendents from Lawsonia have gone on to successful Head Superintendent positions in the midwest.

The Links Course at Lawsonia consistently ranks in the top 100 public courses in the country, while the newly renovated Woodlands Course offers the perfect contrast in style and layout for this 36-hole destination property.  The Links' recently completed restoration work included bunkers and fairway expansions, restoring it back to the original 1930 Langford Moreau design.  The golf course’s notoriety and unique restoration projects make Lawsonia an ideal property to gain experience and skills as an Assistant Superintendent.

The successful Assistant Superintendents will assist the Superintendents with fertilizer and chemical applications, bunker maintenance, irrigation, and crew/project management.  Our team members consistently reflect a friendly, confident, professional demeanor that provides a safe and healthy work environment.   A Wisconsin commercial pesticide applicators license and golf maintenance experience/education are preferred.
