We are seeking a skilled and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and operations of our 18-hole golf course located in Central Florida. As the Golf Course Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and executing course maintenance practices to ensure the course is in top condition for play. This includes overseeing turf management, irrigation systems, equipment maintenance, pest control, and landscaping. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members to maintain the course to the highest standards and create an exceptional playing experience for our members and guests.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in golf course maintenance, with a deep understanding of agronomy, irrigation systems, and turf care practices. You should possess excellent leadership skills to motivate and coordinate your team effectively. Experience in Central Florida is preferred, as knowledge of the local climate and turfgrass species will be beneficial in maintaining a flourishing course.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to keep the golf course in excellent condition
- Supervise and schedule maintenance tasks, including mowing, fertilization, and pest control
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and safety standards
- Manage budgeting and procurement of supplies and equipment

Bachelor's degree in Turf Management or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course maintenance
