The Stevens Point Country Club is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent who can evaluate the course from a player's perspective, has extensive experience in managing the complete maintenance of the golf course and possesses a great passion for the game of golf. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with a keen eye for detail and a true understanding of agronomic practices in Wisconsin.

About Stevens Point Country Club

Stevens Point Country Club is a private golf club originally constructed in 1925 and has long been considered one of the premier private clubs in the state of Wisconsin. The course went through a redesign in 2017 with a unique blend of parkland and links style golf.  The course conditions are now considered one of the best in the state with bent grass greens, tees, approaches and fairways.  SPCC has been home to U.S. Senior Open & U.S. Amateur qualifiers in the past 2 years along with numerous WSGA and WPGA events including the Men's and Women's State Opens and the State Mid-Am.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or 3 year as a Superintendent with supervisory experience in a club or golf course setting
• Requires advanced knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass
• Requires a high-degree of administrative and executive ability, especially in terms of identifying problems, decision-making and problem-solving
• Requires excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must possess a Wisconsin Applicators License or be able to obtain in 60 days
• Must be able to lead a team with an assertive but patient style
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must have an eye for details
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
