Southampton Golf Club is looking for a motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our team and play a key role in elevating our historic course to new heights.  The individual should have a passion for turf management and proven track record of leadership and dedication to his craft.  As the Assistant Superintendent, you will work closely with the Superintendent to implement and oversee all aspects of course maintenance and management.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of turf management practices, irrigation systems, and pest control solutions.  You should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to train, lead and manage staff to ensure high quality standards are met.

• 2 or 4 year turf degree recommended 
• Minimum 3 years experience in golf course maintenance
• Proficient in fertilizer and chemical application and calibration methods
• Ability to train, lead and supervise staff effectively
• Strong knowledge of turf management practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in irrigation repair and programming
• Experience in golf course construction 
• Integrity
