Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Golf Course Equipment Maintenance Manager to develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all golf course equipment and facilities. This role ensures the repair and optimal performance of all machinery used on the golf course, contributing to an exceptional golfing experience for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for all golf course equipment.
Team Development: Motivate, train, and supervise mechanics, ensuring a skilled and efficient team.
Communication: Effectively communicate maintenance plans and updates both verbally and in writing.
Troubleshooting: Exhibit proficiency in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
Budget Management: Oversee budget and expense tracking, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the precision and quality of cut for all mowing, trimming, and edging equipment.
Staff Training: Train staff on the proper operation and safety procedures for all equipment.
Safety Management: Serve as a safety trainer for equipment use and the working environment.

Qualifications:
Written Communication: Clear and informative writing skills, with the ability to present numerical data effectively.
Oral Communication: Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in various situations, with strong listening skills.
Time Management: Organized approach to managing data, plans, and time, with the ability to adapt plans as needed.
Problem Solving: Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems efficiently and developing alternative solutions.
Goal Setting: Ability to set and achieve high targets through well-developed plans.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, write reports, and present information effectively.
Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Practical Problem Solving: Aptitude for solving practical problems with limited standardization, following written, oral, or diagram instructions.
Education and Experience:
One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
