Shadow Wood Country Club is located in Estero, Florida, directly between Naples to the South and Fort Myers to the North. The club was founded in 1998. This 54-hole, private facility has recently renovated all three, unique courses; The Preserve, North and South. This has included completely new TifEagle greens, new greens loop irrigation, new bunkers, re-grassed tees, fairways and approaches with Celebration Bermuda, enhanced drainage in wet areas throughout the courses and landscaping improvements. Golf course architect, Rees Jones directed all renovations. Our South course was recently re-grassed wall to wall with Bimini Bermuda this past Summer. It should be noted that Shadow Wood boasts two courses on one property and one course just North of the Brooks campus. Both Club Houses have had major renovations over the past two years. The capital budget for improvement projects is strong and we currently have a full membership and waiting.
This is a great opportunity for an individual to showcase their talents on a 54-hole stage and grow within the industry. The Collier/Lee county area is golf centric and the place to be. Our two current Superintendents on the North and South were promoted from the Assistant positions in the past. We are interviewing for Assistant Superintendents on the North and South Courses.
