Job Description: Performs chemical applications on the golf course and fertilizes tees, greens and fairways; applies chemicals on greens. The Spray Technician is responsible for reading, understanding and keeping current with Safety Data Sheets (SDS). The Spray technician will also be responsible for keeping chemicals application records in Playbooks. This position is also responsible for compiling preliminary reports of pesticide usage for the Golf Course Superintendent.   Duties & Responsibilities: Spray prescribed amounts of fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide and fungicide, using hoses and truck-mounted tank, taking care not to injure turf or shrubs.
