Set among the rolling hills of the Delaware Valley, our storied history of over 120 years has solidified Wilmington Country Club as one of the finest and most prestigious clubs in the country. Home to two world class golf courses, Wilmington Country Club has hosted a number of USGA and National Amateur Championships. The Club hosted the PGA TOUR as the site for the 2022 BMW Championship.
The club comprises of 36 holes of golf, along with an extensive racquets program, including grass tennis courts. A renovation of the North Course is in development for 2026 that will include a campus wide irrigation installation.
Founded in 1901, Wilmington Country Club is centrally located in the Mid-Atlantic, two hours in either direction to New York City or Washington, DC. This location allows our agronomy department to manage both cool-season and warm-season turfgrasses, presenting a unique opportunity for students. In addition, you will increase your professional network by interacting with various consultants and field visits to neighboring sports turf facilities.
