Course Information
Hole-In-The-Wall Golf Club is the oldest private golf club in Naples, designed by Dick Wilson in 1957 and opened in 1958. While some may have not heard of this hidden gem, our members call Hole-In-The Wall Golf Club home, along with some of the most prestigious clubs in the country. In 2009, Hole-In-The-Wall took on a complete renovation of the course that was re-designed by Ron Forse, who is very familiar with the Dick Wilson style. In the summer of 2014 the greens were re-grassed with TifEagle, going away from Champion Bermudagrass. All of the other turf is Celebration Bermudagrass. We recently installed a new irrigation system, utilizing the Toro Two-wire system in the summer of 2020. We will be re-grassing all areas except greens with Bimini Bermudagrass during the summer of 2025. The club is one of few certified by Audubon International. There are no homes on the course and Hole-In-The-Wall remains strictly a golf club. Hole-In-The-Wall has 120 bunkers, classic Dick Wilson style with rolling grass on the faces giving the course a unique look and even more unique challenges with maintenance. Hole-In-The-Wall utilizes extreme summer cultural practice and strives for fast, firm conditions on a daily basis, with smooth consistent green speeds. Hole-In-The-Wall Golf Club has a cap of 290 regular members, averages 16,000 rounds per year, and 40% of play utilizes pull carts. Hole-In-The-Wall Golf Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace.
