Summer on the East End of Long Island attracts people from around the world, will you join them in 2025? We are seeking individuals that are motivated to advance their knowledge of golf course agronomy. We offer internships of 3 and 6 months and seek to promote an environment of life/work balance so you can experience the beaches, hiking, fishing and other opportunities presented in this special place.
The Maidstone Club is located adjacent to downtown East Hampton and backs up against the Atlantic Ocean, here you will work and learn on one of America’s ‘truest’ links courses. The property has many unique environments and the 27-holes of golf dramatically sprawl out across dune land along the ocean, the banks of Hook Pond, and bucolic parkland. The West Course was designed by Willie Park Jr. and restored by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2014. The East Course is a fun nine-hole respite from the championship test with its own unique pedigree. A bonus of an internship with the club includes experience in maintaining tennis courts. Featuring 19-natural grass courts on three acres of ground, 4 Har-Tru courts, and a croquet lawn. There is also a beach club which offers employee lunch in season.
As an intern for the 2025 golf season you will be exposed to all aspects of turfgrass management and work closely with the management team daily.
