Holly Tree Country Club is a private club located in Simpsonville, SC. The course was designed by George Cobb and opened in 1973. We will be undergoing a major course renovation beginning in the Fall of 2025. The scope of this project will include: all green complexes redesigned, new better billy bunkers, laser level tees, new naturalized areas, remedial design work on select holes, new irrigation, and tree work. Green surfaces, which are currently bentgrass, will be rebuilt to USGA specs and sprigged with TifEagle. Tahoma 31 will be installed around greens and tees. All tees will be laser leveled, repositioned as necessary, and increased in size. We will also add new tees on select holes. All bunkers will be redesigned, repositioned, and built to Better Billy Bunker Specs. The golf cou
