Promontory Club is private, high-end mountain club located in Park City, Utah, catering to a multi-generational membership with robust amenities and world class golf. Promontory is currently operating three courses which include a Pete Dye Canyon course, a Jack Nicklaus Painted Valley Signature course, and a Forrest Richardson designed Promontory Hills course.

We are seeking a 2nd Assistant Superintendent to help oversee each of our courses. The individual will report to the Superintendent who oversees the course.

Duties Include –

• Ensuring the playability of the course at the high standards set for a Jack Nicklaus Signature course.
• Conducting the morning job assignments and meetings.
• Execute the daily and weekly schedules for the crew.
• Work as a team with the golf professionals creating great synergy for tournaments, daily play, and general course conditions.
• Assist with safety programs, training, and record keeping
• Assist in the budgeting process and financial evaluations.
• Oversee fertilizer and chemical applications.
• Managing the irrigation system and water conservation initiatives.
• Must have a working knowledge of mower operations, utility carts, tractor, spreaders, and small equipment.
• Coordinate with the Equipment Manager to repair, clean, paint, and refurbish equipment.
• Winter work consists of snow removal and equipment maintenance projects.
• Spanish speaking a plus
• High School Diploma required. 2- or 4-year degree in turf grass management preferred along with 3 plus years in operations and supervision.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the Utah Non-Commercial Pesticide Applicators license within 90 days of start date.

Total Compensation $55,000 - $65,000 and is benefit eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance.
