Job Description Assistant Superintendent reports directly to Golf Course Superintendent and directs operations for overall care and maintenance of the golf course grounds at The Ohio State University Golf Club. Plans and directs maintenance, installation, rehabilitation, renovation, and all landscaping and facility needs. Determines workload for golf course staff and prioritizes needs for grounds maintenance. Hires, trains, and directs the work of grounds maintenance staff. Assists in planning and development of budgets, purchasing, payroll and other administrative needs for the facilities operation. This position will work extensive hours including early mornings and weekends. This position will work in inclement weather.
