The purpose of this position is to supervise and provide direction to maintenance technicians servicing building components and equipment at several Parks and Recreation Facilities, to include the Peoria Sports Complex and Community Pools, while also providing direct support for the Department’s Facilities Services division. This is accomplished by scheduling and assigning tasks; facilitating training activities; providing technical assistance; developing goals and objectives; establishing policies and procedures. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and operating heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, fire systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and graffiti mitigation, among others.
