The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent works under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the golf course.  Seasonal fluctuations will impact work responsibilities.   As a working supervisor, incumbent will perform various administrative tasks, assist with hiring and personnel decisions, train and supervise staff, in the safe and efficient completion of duties relating to the maintenance and care of turf and playing conditions of the golf course.  Other duties include application of chemicals and fertilizers, operation of equipment, maintenance and repair of irrigation system, assist mechanic with equipment repair and service, and responsibility for overall quality of the golf course and day-to-day maintenance staff sched
