Under direction of the golf course superintendent, this position is responsible for directing and participating in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways and cart paths; supervises the maintenance and repair of motorized and other mechanical equipment.   Position is responsible for assisting in planning, assigning, directing and inspecting the work of personnel involved in the maintenance of greens, tees and fairways; and performs related duties as assigned.  This position may act in the capacity of the superintendent in his/her absence.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the City’s policies and applicable laws.
