Facility Description: Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course is a 27 hole facility designed Ken Dye and Jeffry Brauer that opened in 1991 located in El Paso, Texas. The golf course is a City of El Paso Water Utilities owned property located in Northeast area of the City. The turfgrass varieties consist of bent grass greens with Bermuda grass tees and fairways. Overseeding is performed on 18 of the 27 holes during the winter months. The course is irrigated with reclaimed water.
