Orange Tree Golf Resort is proud to announce the career opportunity of Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Qualified candidates will provide exceptional customer service through excellent playing conditions in a fast paced, high use resort facility.
Bachelors degree preferred or 3-4 years experience in a similar role. A combination of related education and experience considered. Degree preference in agronomy, horticulture, plant /soil science.

Assist in daily scheduling, staff training, plant protectant applications, and irrigation controls, programming, and repairs. Daily inspection of the course to ensure it is prepared for play and to prevent or circumvent turf and other issues that may occur. Document all work schedules, applications, training, and operations of the course. Schedule with the Director of Agronomy and monitor daily activities of all staff, assist and provide direction daily. Assist in and learn / grow in all labor, budget preparation and control, purchasing and inventory control measures in all areas. Communicate maintenance functions to all staff, management, and golf staff as required. Other duties as they apply. Learn to develop and grow with the company that owns and operates six golf facilities. |
Additional Salary Information: Health, Dental and vision available after 90 days, 401K after 1 year. Some holidays, uniform allowance, meal benefits and golfing privileges. Local association dues paid.
