| Mecklenburg Country Club is looking for a candidate that will be responsible for chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation along with maintenance and repair of irrigation equipment, course set-up, record keeping, budgeting, training, hand watering, equipment operation and maintenance repair. Off season should probably run 30 hours per week and peak season around 50 hours per week.

Golf Course experience Knowledge of turf grasses, irrigation systems, pest control and fertilization techniques. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours. Early mornings, weekends and holidays based on seasonal demands. Love for the game of golf and the golfing experience!

About Mecklenburg Country Club, Inc.
Mecklenburg Country Club is a private 9 hole course designed by Fred Finley. Incorporated in 1946 MCC has beautiful bent greens and common Bermuda fairways. We are currently looking for an eager individual that will enjoy the quiet living of Southside Virginia. Chase City is only about 20 minutes from Buggs Island/Kerr Lake with its 800 + miles of shoreline. Within a 2 hour drive or less you can be in the beautiful mountains of Virginia or setting with your “toes in the sand” of the Atlantic Ocean! If you enjoy ‘big’ city life we are half way between Richmond, VA and Raleigh, NC.
