Job Summary The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for assuring we maintain an excellent golfing experience. They will work hands on, alongside the Director of Agronomy, and will be entrusted with the maintenance, operation, and management of the golf course.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in leading and scheduling staff to ensure a quality product. Making sure the staff stays productive and completes jobs by the deadlines. Assist in development and enforcement of company policies and procedures. Assist in personnel management, evaluation, safety and discipline. Is responsible to communicate anything that is not considered routine. Supervise and participate in golf course set up. Communicate with the Golf Shop on a regular basis to forecast upcoming needs for events and changes in routines. Coordinate and carry out all chemical and fertilizer applications. Communicate and forecast to the Equipment technician on upcoming needs. Assist in maintaining the irrigation system, including pumps and pump house, as well as computer control systems. Pest Management: Be able to identify pests and apply Integrated Pest Management practices to resolve the issues. Keep complete and accurate records of Chemical and Fertilizer applications. |
