Mechanic

Briarwood Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual for mechanic position in the ground’s maintenance department.

Duties:

• Maintain preventative maintenance program.
• Will initiate a hazardous material disposal program as it pertains to equipment maintenance and facility management (oil, anti-freeze, etc.).
• This individual, with management approval and within budget parameters, should develop and maintain an intelligent parts inventory.
• Will need to gain fabrication skills (welding, plasma cutting, etc.).
• This individual should have basic computer skills and ability to communicate with superintendent, vendors, distributors, and salespeople.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical troubles and determine appropriate maintenance work.
