About Big Cedar Golf: Big Cedar Lodge is the premier golf destination in the Midwest, boasting five different golf courses designed to fit the needs of every golfer. Big Cedar Lodge Golf is on the lookout for motivated Turf Management Interns for the 2024 season to join our awesome team here in Ridgedale, MO. 

 Our internship program will allow the right candidate to experience world-class turf management under the direction of Big Cedar Lodge Director of Agronomy, Golf Course Superintendents and the Assistant Superintendents. Interns should expect to gain experience in the following. 

• Chemical applications - Boom spraying Greens, tees and fairways.
• Spray hawking on Paynes Valley 19th Green.
• Rainbird/Toro sprinkler head maintenance and troubleshooting. 
• Sand Topdressing of Greens.
• Hand watering of Bent grass greens in the transition zone using a pogo sensor.
• Small project crew leadership opportunities. 
• Exposure to visit Buffalo Ridge golf course to view their brand-new irrigation install as well as to Cliffhangers, a new 18-hole par 3 course currently under construction.  
• Networking opportunities with the other on course assistants, course superintendents as well as the Director of Agronomy.
