Assistant in Training

The Country Club is seeking a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the desire to learn. The Assistant-in-Training will work closely with the Grounds Management Team. He/She must be willing to perform many different tasks, including course setup, moisture management, chemical and fertilizer application, irrigation repair, and equipment operation. This position requires attention to detail, leadership, and teamwork in a fast-paced work environment. He/She will also be in charge of managing small groups during certain projects throughout the year. The AIT position is intended to be a full-time year round position but is also open to anyone currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year program. The opportunity is available for advancement and this position is intended to encourage development. The AIT will have a personal development program curated for them personally by the Grounds Management Team here at The Country Club.
