Concord Country Club
| Concord Country Club is a 125-year-old private club, featuring a Donald Ross designed 18-hole golf course. The club has hosted several Massachusetts Men's and Women's State Amateur Championships in the past. The golf course has recently installed a new Rain Bird IC system and an irrigation storage pond. Along with an irrigation system, the club is in the process of implementing a new Master plan by architect Andrew Green with golf course construction this spring and fall of 2024. The candidate will get extensive construction and irrigation installation experience. The department is located in a 20,000 sq. ft. ground and environmental management center built in 2012. Housing is available on site in the facility. Opportunity to grow & develop within the organization, along with the potential of staying on year-round full time.

The candidate will work closely with the Superintendent and the turf management team on all aspects of golf course maintenance. The position will consist of fertilizer and pesticide applications, calibration, and training. Other duties will include course set-up, water management, irrigation and drainage projects and troubleshooting. The candidate will be part of the decision making process on course management through weekly meetings. The candidate will work with the Superintendent on career guidance and goal setting. The position requires a strong work ethic, commitment, honesty, and a positive attitude. Typically, we rotate the staff to allow for time off throughout the summer such as weekends and half day throughout the week. Must be currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 Turf Management Program or related field. Winter school students are also encouraged to apply. Golf course experience preferred but not required |
