Internship

Turfgrass Interns will be an integral part of the Turf Team that employs 85 staff in mid-season and will be considered part of the management team as skills and abilities warrant. Our core beliefs revolve around Respect/Personal Responsibility/Individualism. Internships can vary from 3 - 9 months and develop into a full time position.  A partial list of the opportunities Interns will be given:

• Completion and 'grow-in' of Course #3 with OCM Golf.
• Develop an Intern Goals and Objectives Plan tailored to each individual.
• Fertilizer/pesticide: calibration, application, inventory control, disease ID and an understanding of how, what and why these applications are used.
• Irrigation function and scheduling; water management that leads to firm conditions and turf health.
• How to organize and schedule an efficient team, daily and weekly.
• Coaching and mentoring on job performance and career track as desired.
• Flexible schedule that supports a Life Outside of Turf.
• Work with  an industry leading Equipment Technician Team.
