As the assistant you will work closely with the superintendents on a daily basis.  You will also be able to fill in for the Superintendents during their absence.

Job responsibilities include

  • Supervision
  • Daily course setup
  • Daily course maintenance
  • Chemical/Fertilizer calibration and application
  • Irrigation repair, setup, control, and moisture management
  • Tournament setup when required
  • Assist in planning and execution of various projects
  • Disease scouting

  • Certificate, 2 or 4 year degree in related field
  • Minimum of two years of golf course maintenance experience required
  • Prior experience with fertilizer and pesticide applications recommended
  • Highly motivated, responsible and flexible
  • Strong communication skills required, ability to speak Spanish a plus
  • Able to supervise in the absence of superintendent  
  • Individual must be hands on and ready for any task
  • Understand and play the game of golf
  • Valid driver’s license required
