Detroit Golf Club is looking for highly motivated, team-oriented individuals with a goal of advancing in the industry. Our philosophy is to ensure 2nd Assistants are ready to progress into the next stages of their careers at Detroit Golf Club. Individuals will work closely with the Course Superintendent’s and Senior Assistant’s in developing their skill set in an array of management tasks necessary to provide the championship level conditions expected at DGC. Detroit Golf Club has a Raid Bird irrigation system with Cirrus central control. The irrigation technician is responsible for but not limited to: Keeping accurate inventory of all irrigation related parts and accessories Managing an irrigation and drainage parts budget.
