Fiddlesticks Country Club, nestled in the vibrant city of Fort Myers, Florida, is actively searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Superintendent to join our agronomy team.

As a Superintendent at Fiddlesticks, you will play an integral role in helping us achieve and exceed our club's goals, contributing to the continued success and reputation of this remarkable 36-hole private facility. Associate of Science degree is recommended or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or minimum of one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior golf and country club experience preferred.
Certification in Florida Golf - BMP, or the ability to obtain within 180 days.
State of Florida, Ornamental and Turf restricted use pesticide license, or the ability to obtain within 180 day.
Requires a valid Florida driver’s license.
Exhibits professionalism and expressed interest of improvement through enhanced developmental skills.
Exhibits proactive leadership.
Requires knowledge of legal issues as it relates to Wage & Hour, OSHA, Department of Environmental Regulation & the Department of Environmental Protection.
Requires managerial / supervisory background and understanding of private club operations as it pertains to legal liability and employee relations.
Requires the individual to maintain flexible availability, and be willing to work weekends and holidays when requested or assigned. May be required to return to job site at odd hours under emergency situations.
Maintains a pleasant and outgoing personality, and always act professionally around a conservative membership base.
Must be self-motivated.
Understands the game of Golf and commits to properly delivering quality playing conditions for members.
Builds company image with Members, employees and vendors by enforcing ethical business practices as stated in the “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics”.
Serves as a role model and sets a positive example for the entire staff in all aspects of business and personnel management.
Must be in compliance with and actively support a drug free workplace.
