Eagle Landing Golf Club is seeking an energetic leader to join our team who takes satisfaction in seeing the results of his work and can balance the on course work with administrative duties. Tifeagle greens. The golf course budget is sufficient to provide excellent conditions.
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
Develop and implement of all golf course maintenance programs, improvements, operating budgets, capital budgets, and personnel decisions.
Manage golf course, landscaping, open spaces and the equipment used to maintain these areas.
Recruit and retain maintenance staff.
Provide technical, operational and safety training for employees to ensure that staff is working within OSHA, state and federal guidelines for safe working conditions.
Participate in all applications of chemicals (fertilizers and pesticides) on course grounds. Ensure proper procedures and record keeping requirements are met.
Supervise and control all maintenance expenses associated with the golf course operations, including payroll, supplies, chemicals and fertilizers.
Produce basic agronomic and financial reports and forecasts.
2 or 4-year agronomy or related degree preferred. 3 years’ experience as a First Assistant superintendent preferred.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
Must have or obtain a FL pesticide applicator license within 30 days of hire.
