Equipment/Shop Manager

Lake Waramaug Country Club is currently accepting applications for our Equipment/Shop Manager position. The responsibility of the Equipment Manager is to oversee the maintenance of our fleet of golf course maintenance equipment and golf cart fleet. A qualified candidate will have experience with golf course equipment, small engine repair, hydraulic system maintenance and operation, grinding and sharpening of cutting reels, blades and bed knives. This position requires a very organized individual as record keeping, maintenance schedules, stocking and inventory along budget guidelines are all very critical to a successful department. When not performing maintenance or repairs, the Equipment Manager will occasionally help with maintenance on the golf course, usually mowing greens as this is where quality of cut is most important.

Course Overview: Founded in 1916, Lake Waramaug Country Club is a family-oriented club, nestled in picturesque Litchfield County on Lake Waramaug. The rolling hills provide the perfect back drop for the 9-hole 3,128 -yard golf course. In addition to the challenging course, the Club features four clay tennis courts, a wide variety of activities at the Lake and a new clubhouse featuring a wrap around porch, that provides the membership an incredible dining atmosphere.  Our goal with the Equipment Manager position is to find a candidate that will be a great fit for our team and has the passion to provide the best product possible while always striving to improve.
