Eagle Lakes Golf Club is looking for a mechanic/equipment manager with experience working in the landscape/golf industry to join the staff. They will report to the superintendent and assistant superintendent and oversee preventive maintenance program for all golf course assets. Here are some of the functions:

  • Diagnostics of all equipment
  • Keeping records of parts and service
  • Trains golf course workers regarding preventative maintenance and proper cleaning and upkeep of equipment.
  • Keeps records of equipment purchases
  • Oversees shop maintenance
  • Recommends equipment purchases/leases.

These are the skills that are required:

  • Expertise working on mowers, small engines,
  • Experience sharpening reels and bedknives
  • Knowledge of golf cart maintenance
  • Work in a variety of climate conditions
  • Diagnose mechanical troubles
  • Knowledge of how equipment performance affects playing conditions on the course.

* Hablas espanol is a plus

*Pay is hourly

About Eagle Lakes Golf Club
18 hole championship golf club in Naples, Florida. Semi-private and doing 40,000 rounds annually. 5 sets of tees with 50 bunkers and 18 lakes and Bermuda grass fairways and greens. We are looking for experienced maintenance workers with experience in irrigation, spraying, and all other aspects of maintenance. We are looking to build a team to take the course to the next level. Pay is hourly and depending on experience. Bonus for irrigation and spray techs and degrees or certifications.
