Assistant Superintendent will directly schedule, manage, and motivate seasonal staff. Responsibilities will also include daily scheduling of tasks, applications of fertilizers and pesticides, irrigation programming and repair, moisture management, and record keeping. Opportunities for project management will also be given. Walnut Creek is currently undergoing a multimillion dollar renovation with new irrigation, drainage, greens, tees, and bunkers. Regrassing of fairways and rough is also occurring with this renovation.
