Irrigation Technician/Project Manager

Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, NJ is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity for a hands-on, highly motivated, skilled Irrigation Technician/Project Manager. The Irrigation Technician/Project Manager will oversee the installation of a new HDPE irrigation system and related irrigation projects at our prestigious country club. Qualified candidates will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical expertise in irrigation systems, and exceptional project management skills. The Irrigation Technician/Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Agronomy.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Irrigation System Maintenance: Regularly inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain the club's irrigation systems, including sprinklers, pumps, valves, and controllers to ensure proper functionality and efficient water usage.
2. Repair and Upkeep: Identify and address irrigation system malfunctions, leaks, and damages promptly. Perform necessary repairs and replacements to minimize downtime and maintain optimal water distribution.
3. Water Management: Monitor weather forecasts, evapotranspiration rates, and soil moisture levels to adjust irrigation schedules and conserve water resources effectively.
4. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute irrigation improvement projects, which may involve system upgrades, installations, and infrastructure enhancements.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, system adjustments, and project progress. Generate reports for management as needed.
