Equipment Manager– Hyperion Field Club - Johnston, Iowa

Established in 1910, Hyperion Field Club is a private 18-hole golf club located north of Des Moines, Iowa. The club utilizes a valuable maintenance and golf cart fleet that is on a continual replacement & lease program. The staff is dedicated to a positive environment, prioritizing personal growth. 

The equipment manager will perform preventive maintenance and repair of the club’s mowing & maintenance fleet, setting the staff up for success by ensuring all machinery is ready to perform at very tight tolerances. The successful candidate will also repair the golf cart fleet as needed and perform annual maintenance. The candidate reports to the Golf Course Superintendent.

Duties:
Perform maintenance and repair of the mowing and golf cart fleet.
Set mowers up daily, prioritizing greens mower performance.
Maintain a neat and organized shop, keep records, and participate in a positive work culture.
Train others in the care and safe operation of tools and equipment.
Golf course maintenance as needed- mowing, debris removal, etc.

Perform other tasks as assigned.
