2024 Seasonal Intern

Congressional Country Club is seeking seasonal Golf Course & Grounds Interns for the 2024 golf season. The 2024 season will be yet another exciting season here at Congressional. We are proudly hosting the 2024 Boys and Girls Junior PGA Championship on both golf courses. The club also recently hosted the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship on the newly renovated Blue Course. This year’s interns will help us progress and prepare the club to host major championships in the future while also providing the best experience for our members and guests. This opportunity will allow students to get firsthand practical experience at one of the most storied clubs in the country on golf course maintenance.

Congressional Country Club is a 36-Hole facility. Interns will be involved in the daily maintenance of two golf courses, Blue and Gold, and will work closely with the Superintendents and Assistants. Interns will learn fertilizer/pesticide calibration as well as proper application practices. Daily jobs will include but not limited to course setup, irrigation repair, disease identification, and water management on USGA and pushup greens. Interns will also be exposed to the equipment maintenance and clubhouse horticulture/grounds side of the operation. Congressional Country Club prides itself on a positive learning experience for all interns of various skill levels.
