Superintendent

Pleasant View Golf Club is an 18 hole course over a rolling terrain located near Canton, Ohio. We pride ourselves on a well maintained golf course for our golfers and guests. We have been a family owned and operated course since 1965 and we are looking to fill the position our retiring superintendent.

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on individual who will be entrusted with the daily operation of the grounds and outside services.

Duties and Responsibilities of Superintendent include but not limited to:

• Coordinating schedules and assigning tasks to staff.
• Knowledge of operating/maintaining a variety of equipment.
• Application of chemicals, fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides.
• Operate, maintain and install irrigation and drainage systems.
• Hiring, training and supervision of current and new staff.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Keep a well maintained turf and playing conditions for players and events.
• Communicate with Director of Golf and General manager on projects and needs.
• Building and Keeping a budget.
