Ubly Heights Golf Course is a premiere 18-hole golf and banquet facility located in the heart of Michigan’s thumb.  The award-winning course is 26 years old and has grown to be one of the best golf courses in its price range in the entire state.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team.  The superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the grounds and crew. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the grounds including quality of the course and facilities and maintaining of equipment.
• Ensure all grounds crew personnel are performing their duties in a safe and effective manner.
• Assist with the training of new hires on how to perform essential functions of the grounds crew including safety, operating procedures, and quality standards.
• Ability to properly apply fertilizers, pesticides, seed, etc.
• Maintain all irrigation and drainage systems.
• Maintain all equipment.
• Willingness to work the hours necessary to maintain the grounds and facility standards.
• Communicate with the Board of Directors.
