MeadowCreek Golf Resort is accepting applications for an Golf Course Superintendent. MeadowCreek is located in the beautiful west central Idaho mountains, along the 45th parallel just outside of McCall, Idaho.
MeadowCreek is an 18-hole public golf resort, owned by MeadowCreek Property Owners Association (MCPOA). Opened in 1983, the character of the golf course can be summarized by its location, at 3,800-foot elevation, small greens & narrow landing areas, 22-sand bunkers, and ponderosa tree lined fairways. Each hole winds through stands of ponderosa pines offering an individual golf hole experience. MC Resort includes golf, tennis, swimming pool, pickle ball courts, along with winter Nordic sports activities. The golf course is open from May through October. This position is full time – year-round. The Golf Course Superintendent will work with and report to the MeadowCreek Resort Association Board of Directors. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of the golf course maintenance department, and swimming pool facility. Participate and develop short and long term maintenance goals along with operating and capital budgets. Operation and administrative processes are approved by the MeadowCreek Property Owners Association Board of Directors. During the winter months responsibilities include Nordic trail grooming and managing an established MCPOA residential snow removal service.
Two-year degree in Turfgrass Management or related field.
2-3-years as an assistant superintendent.
Possess or ability to acquire state pesticide applicators license.
