Assistant Superintendent

Branson Hills Golf Club has an opening for assistant superintendent. A successful candidate will be a hard-working, self starter with a positive attitude. The assistant superintendent will assist the golf course superintendent in day to day operations and lead the rest of the maintenance team by example. Job responsibilities include but not limited to; daily job assignments, irrigation repair, course setup, chemical and fertilizer applications, greens moisture management, and any additional tasks that need to be done to help the maintenance team.

The assistant superintendent will also help in project planning, record and data keeping, forecasting equipment and golf course needs, equipment maintenance and repair and water management. Both the assistant and superintendent work hands on with the maintenance team. We consistently work 45-50 hours during the season and 35-40 in the off season.

The assistant superintendent will manage the maintenance team in the absence of the golf course superintendent. This person will be trained to be a Golf Course Superintendent so that when the day comes they can easily transition to that role either at the current facility or at a club of equal standards.
